The Archive's Ultimatum
Seraphina Vale delivers a formal notice: due to 'repeated regulatory non-compliance' and the 'unstable, uncatalogued nature' of the collection, the Archives will begin proceedings to assume custodianship of the Scriptorium's Heart in one week.
The Unfinished Story
In the hidden Whispering Gallery, Elara finds the true heart of the shop: a living narrative, unfinished and waiting. It is the story of her family's pact with the shop's spirit. She must choose how to continue it—embrace the legacy fully, rewrite its terms, or sever the connection.

You encounter a serious, active magical corruption—a twisted creature or a reality-warping zone. This is a direct, physical threat that requires magic, stealth, or quick thinking to survive.
The Choice at the Heart
The climax. You discover the true, hidden heart of the University—the failing Suppression Engine or the imprisoned source of the Cataclysm. Here, you must make a final choice based on your accumulated knowledge, alliances, and personal corruption: try to repair/restore the system (Vance's path), help dismantle it forever (Elara's path), or enforce the current, crumbling status quo (Rourke's path).
