Veilbeasts roam as manifestations of unrested souls, feral and destructive unless bound by tamers using Bindstones forged from Veil shards. The Corruptors, a fanatical cult, corrupt beasts into Blightspawn to consume the living and widen the Veil's tears. Heroic Veilbinders stand against them, but binding erodes the tamer's soul—unique lore rule: each binding shortens lifespan by a year and risks 'Veil Madness' (hallucinations, berserk states).
